Sending a followup email to those who did not open the previous email

SOLVE

Hi

 

Can I create a workflow that sends an email to multiple contacts, then sends a follow-up email to those who did open the original email, and a different follow-up email to those who did not open the original email?

The easiest way to set this up is as follows:

The alternative would be a branch after the delay, checking for the email open. In the "None met" branch you would place email 2.

Thanks for the help. As a follow-up, can I do the same with form submissions? Let's say I send an email to a list. In the email is a link to a HubSpot form. Some people will fill it in and submit, and some will ignore it. Can I send reminder emails to those who did not submit the form?

@Glinks same logic as in my previous reply applies – you can either set up a delay followed by a branch that checks for the submission, or just a delay and specify the form submission as a workflow goal.
