Rescubcribe a contact who has previously unsubscribe

Hi,

As I am aware of being GDPR compliant, I wanted to know the best way to have a contact resubscribe. We have an external website. Knowing that I cannnot resubribe a contact on their behalf ( even with their permission ), is there way for this contact to click on a subscribe link on our external site, so they can manage their subscription preferences?

No. However, the easiest way to have subscribers who've previously unsubscribed is to ...

-1- Toggle the Resubscription email setting 'On' for your portal.
- see Manage your marketing email account settings

-2- Have the subscriber submit any HubSpot form.

[We like to use a form specifically for this purpose.]

Otherwise, they end up having to search for the 'email preferences' link in our old marketing emails.

Does this apply to only one subscription type or do they have to go to thier preference page?
