Removing an extra bullet point that appears in a marketing email in Outlook
There is a known issue with some versions of Outlook displaying an extra bullet point when an unordered list is the last element in a content module that also contains a left-aligned image.
This issue can be resolved by adding another element in the source code of the email body module so the unordered list is not the last element: <div style="display:none;"> </div>
To add this line of code, you'll need to access the source code of your main email body module at the end of your unordered list:
- In your HubSpot Marketing Hub Basic, Professional, or Enterprise account, navigate to Content > Email.
- Click the name of the email in the dashboard to edit.
- Click into the content module, then click the source code icon code in the rich text toolbar.
- In the dialog box that appears, edit the source code accordingly, then click Save changes.
