Pulling retroactive activity data from Mailchimp to HubSpot
SOLVE
Hello,
I have generally read that activity data can be pulled from Mailchimp to HubSpot. I understand that this is best done via an app marketplace connection between the two systems.
If we're sunsetting Mailchimp, can we connect and see Mailchimp data retroactively? Or does the connection only push new activity data? If the latter, does anyone know of a good way to capture metrics from Mailchimp and add them to HubSpot?

@sammijune - Adding a bit more context here about the information I've gathered since. I will update once I have integrated or imported data to give a real idea of what's possible. But below is what I've learned since.
Some of these types of integration will also show up as an "Import Source" after installation. You'd have to install it to try, as the documentation doesn't mention it. The import source will appear when you click the "Sync from apps" button from the Import data screen:
Mailchimp does appear, but not everything syncs. The following will not sync: Groups, Tags, Email Opens/Clicks. As mentioned above, you can review and install the other Mailchimp integration here to sync additional data.
When reading HubSpot's documentation about connecting HubSpot and Mailchimp it does state that the integration will pull in the following for existing contacts:
An email was sent to a contact
A contact opened the email
A contact clicked a link in the email
The email bounced
You have to toggle on the activity sync for Mailchimp - and when the switch is toggled on, historical email campaign data will only be synced to HubSpot for the previous month. It will only do so for Mailchimp campaigns that meet allof the following conditions:
The send date for the campaign isnotearlier than 30 days before connecting your Mailchimp account to HubSpot.
The campaign has a non-empty subject line and a non-empty title.

Yes, you can connect Mailchimp and HubSpot through the integration available in the HubSpot app marketplace. However, the integration typically only pushes new activity data from Mailchimp to HubSpot moving forward. Retroactive data, like past email campaign performance, doesn’t automatically transfer over once the integration is set up.
To capture past activity data, you could manually export reports from Mailchimp (such as campaign performance, opens, clicks, etc.) and import them into HubSpot. Depending on the level of detail you need, you might be able to use HubSpot’s custom properties or notes to store that data.
If you're looking for a more automated solution, third-party tools like Zapier or Make.com might help bridge the gap and sync Mailchimp's historical data into HubSpot.
Let me know if you need help with any of these steps!

The HubSpot Mailchimp integration mainly syncs new data rather than pulling historical activity. If Mailchimp is being sunset, you can export reports from Mailchimp and manually import key metrics into HubSpot.
Some third-party tools or custom API solutions may also help transfer historical data, but their capabilities vary.
