Publishing email updates: will my edits be sent to all previous recipients?

Hello, 

I am editing an email in a workflow, I hit update and HubSpot tells me: 'Any workflows using this email will get this latest version'

Does this mean that the 88 people already in the workflow who have already received the email will also get the updated email? 

OR will only people who enter the workflow from here onwards get this new email?

@CLees0 people who already received it will not get a new version, no. Only folks going into the workflow after the email has been edited will see the new version.

Hi @CLees0,

No, updating an automated email does not trigger any re-sends. Contacts who have already been sent the email won't be affected at all, contacts who are about to receive the email will no receive the latest updated version.
