We noticed that when someone clicks on a CTA that has been set up with a phone number (that says Call Now for example,) in an email,
when clicked on a mobile phone it doesn't immediately call that number. It will route through a HubSpot link and a pop-up will show on the phone asking if you want to call that number.
Is there a way to avoid that so that when they click on the CTA it just immediately starts dialing the number, instead of routing through a link and then asking the user if they really want to dial the #?
CTAs created in Hubspot are redirects. Personally speaking I would just insert the phone number in the email to make the process as seamless as possible for the user and talk with your IT about setting up a phone number specific to your email campaigns so you can track call volume against email sends.
