Personalized Emails - Not All Individuals Have Contact Owner

Sending out an email and would prefer that it come from the contact owner. Most contacts on the DL have a contact owner, but for those who do not, inquiring who the email would come if we do not assign a default value.

 

With the default value, do you have to choose a person in internal contact owner, or is there a way to assign those without a contact owner to receive the email from a general account / name.

Q1: Who the email would come [from] if we do not assign a default value?

A1: HubSpot generates a warning if you don't set an email send 'from'. Plus, ALWAYS set a default value for Contact Owner in the portal. (best practice)

 

Q2: With the default value, do you have to choose a person in internal contact owner, or is there a way to assign those without a contact owner to receive the email from a general account / name?

A2: You may select a general account / name for your default value. However, that 'general account' must 1st be setup as a HubSpot User in your portal. (mandatory)
