Outlook signature not showing

Hi all,

I have recently started experimenting with Hubspot for email marketing.

Having run a few tests I cannot get my existing outlook signature to display when using the Marketing Email tool.

If however I email a contact 1:1 my signature displays perfectly.

The business is a franchise and as a result I do not have access to the signature code.

Do I need to add my existing signature into Hubspot somehow?

Why is it showing in 1:1 emails but not when using the Marketing Email tool?

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey,

Great news you are trying to email tool.

To use the signature in the marketing email tool you need to use a personalization token to display the contact owner's signature.

In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Email.
Hover over an existing email and click Edit, or create a new email.
Click into the body of your email. Place your cursor where you want to insert the signature token, likely at the end of the email. In the upper right section of the rich text toolbar, click Personalize.
Click the Type dropdown menu, then select Contact.
In the search box, search for Contact owner then select the Contact Owner option.
In the User property dropdown menu that appears, select Signature. In the event a contact recipient does not have an owner and you do not wish to end the email without a signature, you can set a default user for the Contact owner property in your email content settings.
Click Insert.

Thank you very much for your response!

I was slightly misunderstanding the nature of the marketing tool and realise that it is not quite suited for what I am trying to do.

Your reply however was the perfect solution to that particular problem so thank you for that.
