Looking for tips to managing opt-out lists that are manually applied to marketing emails. For example, if a contact does not wish to unsubscribe from an entire subscription, but wants to stop receiving emails of a certain type within that subscription, we would add them to an opt-out list for future emails of the type.
Is anyone else doing this? Curious to know what best practices you employ, as well as any opt-out language you've found to be effective.
This would allow the individuals to choose what they want to receive and what they don't without having to do it manually. You may already be doing this, but this is what I'd consider best practice.
If someone contacts you directly and asks to be removed from something specific you could manage that from the contact record or you could quickly send them your subscription page and allow them to manage it.
