Newsletter's images in a test email and email to the customers differ

Good day, colleagues,
We have different experiences when sending a test email with a newsletter that has images before sending it to the customer and an email with the same newsletter to real customers.
The images seem different in size and narrower in a mobile version. Can this be the reason for the format and size of images based on the OS the recipients have: Mac or Windows and the mobile or desktop version of mailboxes they use?
It's absolutely the same content and template that we sent both times.

Hey @ISmolin, thank you for posting in our Community!
The difference in image appearance between the test email and the one sent to customers is likely due to how various email clients and devices render content. Factors such as the recipient’s OS (Mac or Windows), email client (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail), and whether they are viewing it on mobile or desktop can cause differences in how images are displayed.
Some email clients automatically resize or adjust images based on the screen size or email client settings. To minimize these discrepancies, ensure your images are responsive by using percentage-based widths (like 100% width) and test your emails across multiple clients and devices. This way, the images can adjust better to different screen sizes.

Hi @ISmolin. +1 for the insight from @PamCotton. Which is why, instead of sending a test email, I use the "Inbox Preview" and test the email against many recipient options. It's not perfect, but it's more helpful than sending one or two test emails to folks with likely the same email provider. Here's an example of that works:
So with what Pam laid out for image sizes, and comprehensive testing, I think you should be in a better position to send consistent emails.

Thanks a million, @PamCotton. How do I do this part?
