Multi checkboxes field form populate using URL query

I know it's possible to populate fields using the URL (mentioned here, screenshot below).

The Multiple checkboxes field expect semicolon (;) seperated values. In this example Burder;Tacos. This works fine in the URL.

When I use personalizaton tokens like {{contact.food_pref}} it won't work because it's offered in the URL as Burger,Tacos (comma - no semicolon)

Everything else is working perfectly. If I change the URL (after generation replace the , with ; ) the pre-fill is working as well.

Is there a fix?
