Marketing emails Analytics tool Team filer is not working?

Hi all,

 

I just found the filtering option "Team" today under Marketing emails>Analyze tool. My teams are set up as branches, and the tool finds them well, but the instant analytics doesn't change by applying the filters, like the filter doesn't work. 

I'm wondering if the filter is connected with "From address" instead of "Sent by"? (But even if, the numbers aren't changing at all)

Is it the same for everyone? Is this a possible glitch in the system?

Many thanks for your answer, and thanks for forwarding the article.

The mentioned conditions are applied to us, as we don't assign emails to a specific team. As the matter of fact, I didn't know if that is possible. May be a stupid question and I bet, it is somewhere in the knowledge base, but how can we assign emails to specific teams? Would the email be available/visible to other team members who are not part of the team? Would this effect workflows which use the published emails?

Hi @AnitaMG,

 

You can assign edit access to specific marketing emails to individuals or teams from the email dashboard. 
I wanted to share this knowledge base article goes into further detail on how to assign emails step by step, in addition to how email permissions work. 

Emails assigned to a team can only be edited by users on that team. If a team member isn't assigned to a specific marketing email, they can request access to it.

I wanted to refer you to this snippet in the knowledge base article on the Marketing Email Analyze Tool

The team filter's purpose is to restrict data to only include the emails assigned to a specific team. When this filter is applied in the analyze tool, it will also include performance data from emails that haven't been assigned to a specific team. 

 

If the data you're seeing in your account doesn't fall under this condition, I would recommend connecting with HubSpot Technical Support as this matter may require access to your account and deep troubleshooting tools.
