Marketing email trigger in workflow not pulling in users

I created a marketing automation email, created a workflow and set a trigger off a custom contact field and set to ON. The workflow looks like it should go but it's not pulling in the contacts or sending.  What's going on?

HI Gabriel,

 

This sounds like it could be that when you turned the workflow on,  you would have had the option to add in people that already met the enrollment criteria - The default is that this option is set to off and therefore will only enroll people meet the criteria after you set the workflow live.  If you go and edit the enrolment setting you can change this.
