Make form uploaded files publicly accessible (no need to be logged in)

Hi

Is there a way that the link to a file that has been uploaded via a form can be publically visible, rather than someone having to login to see it?

The reason being is that I'm sending an email to our internal team (who don't have a Hubspot account/login) that contains the file  and they need access to the file without logging in.

Hi @JLane1,

This is not possible, no, and when you think about probably for the better - as it would otherwise be a data privacy catastrophe waiting to happen if these links were publicly accessible.

I'd recommend inviting your colleagues as users with view only access to HubSpot so they can access the files.

Best regards!

Actually it is possible.....I am able to convert uploaded files to public records for 24 hours using zapier. It is a shame this is only way, I am sure each client can ensure they are not shared with wrong people but despite this being an issue (as the pdf files that contacts send into us) are automatically converted to URL for some reason makes this a real pain.

Thanks for that @RHart4

how did you go about this in Zapier?

also, can you make files publicly accessible for longer than 24 hours?

The only way around this is to use a Third Party form builder like JotForm.
