Is it possible to share a WordPress Blog post as a HubSpot Email

解決

Hello Everyone,

We are in the mix of adding a WordPress blog (Which will be separate from our website) to assist with our marketing efforts.

We are wondering if there us a way we can repurpose our blog posts from WordPress and push that content to HubSpot to use as an email marketing campaign with forms etc.

Looking for best practices, tips and tricks on how to optimize our marketing using WordPress and HubSpot together.  We are currently very interested in learning more about drip campaigns, and how to push clients through a funnel.

Thanks,

Paul

Hey Paul!

The first thing I would recommend looking into is creating an RSS email-based subscription to your blog through Hubspot.

Check out this knowledge base article for more details: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/cos-blog/set-up-an-rss-to-email-blog-subscription-for-an-external-blog

Essentially you just create the subscription type and then go through the steps of creating an RSS email which will allow your blog feed to populate into an email template within Hubspot.

Depending on how often you post, you can set the sending schedule to go out daily, weekly or monthly at a specific date & time and you can select a list of contacts.

Then you can create an email subscription form and start capturing more email addresses from your site!

As for other best practices, do you have the Hubspot plug-in installed on your WP site?

Are you using Hubspot forms on your Wordpress site? You should be able to combine non-Hubspot form submissions and the Hubspot site tracking code to build out drip campaigns and campaigns that can nuture potential clients down the funnel from there!

Thanks!

Hi Amber.  Thanks for taking the time!

I'd be happy with the RSS feed set-up - if it works easy enough between HS and WP.  I need to do some digging on best practices.

As for the plug-in, no.  I do not have a WP blog at the moment.  I am beginning construction in the next few weeks.  Looking for tips, tricks before I go live!

Hey Paul!

You bet! Setting up that Hubspot plug-in on your WP site is going to be key as you'll then be able to track non-Hubspot forms, get analytics data and more sent to your Hubspot portal! Then you can start taking full advantage of the tools on your Hubspot plan with the data that's coming in from your new contacts!

Then I'd implement Hubspot forms and any other relevant site tools you'd like / have access to (live chat, pop-up forms, etc.).

That should certainly set you off on the right foot!

Thanks!
