I am wanting to import my contacts from Mailchimp but these contacts all came from my Hubspot customer list in the first place. However if anyone has unsubscribed, I don't want to email them again now with this import.
Will Hubpsot duplicate my contacts? Or will it update the contacts as Marketing or not Marketing with the import?
You can indeed! You can actually pretty easily create a bounced list in HubSpot to find your contacts who have hard bounced in your CRM and decide from there if you wish to delete them! There's a great article on it here:
Yeah but they all came from Hubspot. What I am wanting to know is if it is possible to clean out the bounced emails and remove them from Hubspot without doing that manually. We are finding that a lot of our contacts have changed since covid and this is giving us a poor bounce rate but it is just that people have left the company.

Hey @Nadshocter if they're regularly imported in HubSpot and marked as a marketing contact they will be able to be emailed. If you want to sync up your mailchimp unsubscribes with HubSpot, you should export them from mailchimp and import them as an opt-out list in HubSpot.
