Image Viewing/Downloading Issue

Good day,

In summary, after verifying our domain through our hosting service all marketing emails have failed to properly load images.

Once in the inbox, they will provide the option to download images and upon doing so are greeted with boxes like the ones provided.

In the testing and publishing phases, these issues occur.

All assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Image Viewing/Downloading Issue

  1. In both instances the images do not load. I have sent test emails and the 'download images option' upon being selected displays the empty rectangles as seen in my first message
  2. It is being sent through our Hubspot Marketing Starter plan, yes.
  3. I believe to the best of my knowledge the sending domain and connected domain are the same.
  4. I have tested with only Outlook and Gmail, within and outside our organisation and the same result appears.
  5. The image links will redirect you. For example. The hyperlinked image will take you to a brake pad on our website. That link will send you to our website, but will not display the product page correctly.

Thank you so much for all your help!

Image Viewing/Downloading Issue

Hi @JKM, I hope that you are keeping well!

Thanks a lot for asking the Community!

Can you please provide more details. The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.

1. The images are not loading when previewing the email or once the email has actually been sent?
2. You are sending the email via HubSpot, right?
3. You connected your sending domain and you used this sending domain when sending the email?
4. In which inbox provider this happens? Outlook? Gmail? All?
5. Have you tested the image link by itself? Does it work?

I found for you this post where @karstenkoehler explains how Outlook blocks the images by default and gives a suggestion "Images don't show up in Outlook".

I'd like to ask our Top Experts: Hi @GRajput@Jonno_Price and @KTownsend do you have any tips to help @JKM, please?

If anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation 🙂

Thanks a lot ❤️ and have a fantastic day!

Best,
Bérangère
