Identify Customers who Resubscribe for Communications from your website

I would like to propose the idea for HubSpot to have the functionality of a customer resubscribing to your website's communications and once identified, to send them a 'Welcome Back' email via a workflow.

 

This would be great so as to identify key elements on what makes a person unsubscribe and resubscribe.

Hi @JacelineGo,

 

This can already be achieved, although it's locked behind a Marketing Hub Professional or Marketing Hub Enterprise subscription.

 

When a contact unsubscribes from emails from your portal, there is an option to allow them to resubscribe through a HubSpot form: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/email/resubscribe-contacts-to-your-marketing-emails#resubscribe-a-cont...

 

If this option is enabled, they would see this below the email field in a form: "Looks like you've opted out of email communication. Click here to get an email and opt back in." Submitting the form would then trigger a resubscription email.

 

For reporting, you could filter for contacts who have received this resubscription email.

 

@sharonlicari, since there is a feature for this, should this be moved into the discussion section of the community?
