Our company is a cultural venue with multiple disciplines, like a popstage, cinema and museum. We import the data of our ticketing tool (like cinema tickets, not service tickets) to Hubspot with an API.
In these deals there is a property (in Dutch) "Voorstelling start datum" (translated to show date), containing the date of the show as well as the starting time:
When I open this field (click on pencil icon), Hubspot shows 2 seperate values for date and time:
Now I'm setting up an automated email which needs to be send 48h prior to the show. Text will be something like: "Your show [insert show name] is about to start. We look forward to see you on [DATE]. The show starts at [TIME]"
The email editor only shows the personalization field/property "voorstelling start datum" as mentioned above:
I unsuccesfuly tried to create a new property using a Data ops workflow, for splitting date and time. But as Hubspot already is able to seperate date and time, it should not be this complicated.
TLDR: I'd like to split date and time from 1 to 2 seperate properties.
For some reason, the HubSpot token shows only the date in Marketing Emails. As the separate "Time" property is not available in HubSpot, I would suggest you create 2 separate properties:
1. "Date" or "Date and Time" property.
2. "Single line" text property for placing personalization tokens.
For example, Date property = 19.09.2025 and Text property = 10 AM. Then, you can easily use them separately as tokens in Marketing Emails, and your contacts will receive the correct information.
