How to create an embedded form to send a resubscription email?

I want to be able to let users resubscribe using a Hubspot form. I think the only way to do that is to use a resubscription email, since the subscription API does not allow doing opt-in if they've already opted out.

According to the docs. there is some way to resubscribe users using a form:

"This setting allows contacts who previously opted out of one of your email subscription types to manage their email subscription preferences on any HubSpot form. Once the contact enters their email address into your form, HubSpot will detect if they've opted out of the email subscription associated with the form and prompt them with a link to unsubscribe."

But I can't figure out how to make that form? I'd like to use an embedded form so users can change this from their settings page. How do I make such a form?

Hi @RWebb54,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

Could you tell us which version of the Marketing Hub you're working with? Thank you!

The option to resubscribe contacts via a form is available in Marketing Hub Professional, Enterprise, or Legacy Marketing Hub Basic; you can check out other options to resubscribe contacts to your marketing emails in this Knowledge base article.

If this option is turned on in your settings, the resubscription link should work with any HubSpot form:
