As far as I know, HubSpot does not support this at the moment. You can request it in the HubSpot Ideas section of the community: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/idb-p/HubSpot_Ideas

Are you sure, it is not possible to create gmail annotation and send promotional ads using Hubspot email template.

@karstenkoehler or @Priyanka178 did you get this to work with a custom HTML? I have tried the script and the div option, I cannot get my promo to show up on an html email. Thanks!
