How to change the URL of links in outgoing emails

We use emails to send on-boarding and marketing information to our prospective customer base.  In this email template we have call to action (button or link) that points to a page on our website.

When the email goes out from Hubspot, the URL in the CTA is substituted out for a a hubspot URL something like this: "https://i5.t.hubspotemail.net/.../......."

It has been suggested to us that using our own domain instead of hubspotemail.net will produce better results on clicks.

Currently that domain name resolves to  104.18.161.5

I would like to create my own domain (A record), say "email.xyzcompany.com" and point it to that IP address.  That is the easy part.

I'm looking for a way in hubspot to tell them that when they send an email to substitute my domain instead of theirs so that the content of the emails (including links) is consistent throughout.

Thanks for any advice on this.

Dave

I am also getting the same problem.

I need all the links in the emails should not be changed or created to redirection link. It will hinder the brand name.

@Hubspot Team please provide solution for this ASAP.

Hi @A_S and @datetime,

When you are creating CTAs, you will be able to choose the destination of the link. If the content is hosted on HubSpot, then you will be able to have the content redirect there.

If you can share more specifics around where you are getting stuck, including screenshots, that would be great.

Additionally, if you are looking for assistance in setting this up, you do have access to HubSpot technical Support who can walk through solutions with you specific to your portal.

Thank you,
Jenny

Hi all! I have this need too now.

We've had concerns over the security of urls that have "https://i7.t.hubspotemail.net"

in our emails when they render in a contact's inbox.

Is it possible to append our company domain to that inbox url structure? The support team member I spoke with told me that HubSpot does not provide this option yet. Can you confirm? I want to make sure I'm asking this the right way before I clarify with my team what we have control over and what we don't.

Also, I tested adding a re-direct url to an email and it still ended up being converted to "https://i7.t.hubspotemail.net"

Thanks in advance!

Note - I also tested using a CTA button in the email and the url is still rendering the same domain in inbox.
