How to change the URL of links in outgoing emails
Jun 18, 2019 1:22 PM
We use emails to send on-boarding and marketing information to our prospective customer base. In this email template we have call to action (button or link) that points to a page on our website.
When the email goes out from Hubspot, the URL in the CTA is substituted out for a a hubspot URL something like this: "https://i5.t.hubspotemail.net/.../......."
It has been suggested to us that using our own domain instead of hubspotemail.net will produce better results on clicks.
Currently that domain name resolves to 220.127.116.11
I would like to create my own domain (A record), say "email.xyzcompany.com" and point it to that IP address. That is the easy part.
I'm looking for a way in hubspot to tell them that when they send an email to substitute my domain instead of theirs so that the content of the emails (including links) is consistent throughout.
Thanks for any advice on this.
