How to change conversation based workflows to contact based ?

We have setup the workflow for conversation based by mistake.
And now we wanted to change the conversation based workflow to contact based ?
Is there any way to do that ?

Hi @AliFawadHassan,

 

This is unfortunately not possible. Once created, a workflow type cannot be changed. You would have to start from scratch, choose the correct workflow type, and re-create the workflow actions one by one.

Hey @karstenkoehler ,
Thank you for your quick response.

Can we clone the actions only that are linked to the conversation-based workflow!
so after create a new contact-based workflow i would use those actions there ?

@AliFawadHassan unfortunately not, no. Actions can only be copied between workflows of the same type. As I mentioned, you will have to start from scratch.
