How to Shorten or Mask Long Unsubscribe Links in Emails
SOLVE
Hi HubSpot Community,
I'm trying to clean up the appearance of long unsubscribe or preference links in the footer of our HubSpot emails. While I’ve hyperlinked the phrase (e.g., "Manage Preferences"), the full, long URL still appears when a user clicks on it and is redirected to the HubSpot preferences page.
I’ve attempted using services like bit.ly to shorten the link, but once clicked, the long HubSpot URL is still visible in the browser. Is there a way to completely hide or mask this long URL after the click, perhaps with a cleaner redirect using HubSpot?
No, there isn't any way to shorten the URL that is eventually displayed in the address bar of the browser. There aren't any settings that would change this and link shorteners would only shortly shorten it cosmetically. At the end, it will always show the full long link.
Best regards!
