Frustrating HTML Tags

We recently switched over the Hubspot for marketing purposes. We have plenty of existing email templates existing in Stripo that we would like to use.

Previously, I was able to export my custom email template from Stripo, find in email templates and click send. But now, Hubspot is preventing me from saving my template and requiring I add tags and fields - that i ALREADY have.

This is incredibly frustrating - my email already has an unsubscribe button, our office address and everything else required. But not in the form Hubspot wants...

{{ site_settings.company_street_address_1 }}

{{ site_settings.company_state }}

{{ site_settings.company_name }}

{{ site_settings.company_city }}

{{ unsubscribe_link }}

If i could code HTML - I wouldn't need a template.

Am I doing something wrong? Or do HTML templates need to be in this form?

and is this form standardised across platform? or something Hubspot decided?

Hi Darren, It seems HubSpot started to convert some tags symbols or Stripo export bad the tags. I have tried the Postcards by Designmodo and the export to HubSpot works very well.

Maybe. you could rewrite the old tags with the new one and try to export again?
