Error Email Validation Failed when scheduling email

I am trying to schedule an email to go out later today.  When I click to schedule I am getting an error message: 

Email Validation Failed.

Same here... its was a clone email... removed the word CLONE and it sent

This happened to me and it resolved when I updated the email title in settings and removed the word "(clone)."

Hey @Cherie can you confirm that the email address you are trying to send to is a valid email? You can crosscheck here: http://www.emailvalidator.co/

Thanks for posting in the Community and for spotting this!

It is not a virus but the link just doesn't seem to work right now. I have reached out to my colleague @roisinkirby so that they can update it.

This link goes to a page that's obviously been taken over. There is nothing about email validation on it.

1. The link is a scam so I am warning people to NOT click it when they are searching for answers through this thread.

2. The admins of this thread should see that and take it down because it brings no value to the thread.

I know it’s a scam. But the reply said they were trying to get it fixed as
if it weren’t.The admin should’ve removed the post long ago.

My email address was verified and I tried a variety of addresses as well.  IT support said it was because the personalization tokens that were part of the template I used where removed.  Even when I added them back in, it wouldn't send.  

I had to copy the email over again in a new template, not a clone, and it worked fine.
