Email smart module customisation

resolver

I have an email that will change depending on which list the contact is a member of which has been easy and works a treat. However, I have run into an issue where the contact could be a member of multiple lists and so the smart module may not choose the correct list.

Is there a way to get the smart module to choose a contact membership by most recent or is there any kind of customisation available there?

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi @ARoach4,

With smart rules, HubSpot follows this principle:

"If a visitor matches multiple rules, they will see the content in the rule that comes first."

This cannot be customized further unfortunately; you need to order your rules accordingly. This could also mean restructuring list criteria (for example if contact is in list A, do not include them in list B). Any additional logic would have to live within the lists.

Best regards!
