Email marketing - changing contacts from non-marketing to marketing contacts

Hi Hubspot,

I have four contacts in my Hubspot CRM that have been added as Non-marketing cotnacts by mistake (I forgot to tick the marketing contact box when adding them).

How do I change them back to marketing contacts (and yes I have permission from them as I speak to them regularl

Steps to Convert Non-Marketing Contacts to Marketing Contacts:

1. Go to the Contacts Dashboard:

• Navigate to Contacts > Contacts in your HubSpot CRM.

1. Search for the Specific Contacts:

• Use the search bar to locate the four contacts you mentioned.

• Alternatively, filter by their Marketing Contact Status:

• Click on Filters.

• Choose the Marketing Contact Status property and filter for Non-marketing contacts.

1. Edit the Marketing Contact Status:

• Select the checkboxes next to the names of the contacts you wish to update.
• Click the Edit button on the toolbar at the top.

• In the pop-up window:

• Find the Marketing contact status property.

• Set it to Marketing contact.

1. Confirm the Changes:

• Save the updates, and the selected contacts will be marked as Marketing Contacts.
• Note: These changes will be reflected at the start of the next billing cycle.
