Email Folders - No reference to an emails folder location

I've recently been banging my head when it comes to the organisation of emails, it's better laid out in other areas that use folders, like workflows. When I move an email into a folder, I can't see any reference to which folder it is in from the default all emails list, nor when I click the individual email. This problem is compounded by the fact then if I were to navigate to my folder of choice, then create an email, the email isn't created in that folder.
