Dynamic Global Module

Hey everyone,

Curious: If I wanted to have a global email module that is dynamic - so that it is in the email template but only displays when certain criteria is met - any ideas on how to do that?

I Marketo, I know they have this feature (they call it a snippet) - from my research it looks like it's the same thing as a HubSpot Module but I'm trying to figure out how to get it to populate only in certain scenarios.

For example, I have some instructions to add my domain to GMail's Primary Tab - but I only want that to display to newly created contacts. The idea is to try to get people when they first interact with us to take this email white listing action.

Any ideas on how this can be done in HubSpot?

Thanks all!

Hi @TLarson5,

Here's what I would do, but there may be other ways.

I would use a Smart Rule. This will display different versions of your content based on what the system knows about the person recieving it. In your case here, I would use "Contact List Membership" as my smart rule criteria. You can use workflows or active lists to control who will be on that list of "First Interaction Subscribers" and once they meet whatever criteria you want them to meet, they would be removed from "First Interaction Subscribers". For example, if you only want that to show the very first time you send the email to them, that smart content would exist at the top of the emails (for whatever emails you want) and it would show the whitelisting content to anyone that is on that list. If you have them removed from the list the next time you send an email they won't see it, even if this smart content is at the top of the email.

That's how I would handle this, but curious what others are doing as well!
