We would like to create the DMARC entries for our HubSpot portal and have the following problem: We use two domains in one HubSpot platform. As I understand it, one DMARC entry is required for each domain. However, HubSpot only recognizes one entry, or gives an error message when two DMARC entries are entered with the DNS provider. As described in the knowledgebase article "To ensure that DMARC is configured correctly, you should only have a single TXT record that begins with the version identifier (i.e. v=DMARC1). If multiple DMARC records exist, the receiving email server will immediately terminate its policy detection process and your DMARC policy will not be applied."
How can I ensure the verification of both domains within one platform?
Hi @SFiebig you should only be adding the DMARC one time to each DNS - if you're using two different brand domains (not subdomains), you would add it to each one.
A DMARC policy is not platform specific so you can use the same one for each DNS record for separate brand domains.
