Changing the default send from email address and name

How do I change the default send from email and name for marketing emails? It currently defaults the email address of the person who created the email. However, since they are marketing emails, they should come from the company.

If I can't change it to a company email address, can we make it blank so that it has to be filled in?

We have many shared email addresses and our Support team uses a certain one. We find that sometimes the from email address will default or pull in the incorrect address making it confusing for the receipent and our communications messy. It would be great to change the default per a team and restrict certain teams from using certain email addresses.

This feature needs to be added. We've had emails accidently go out with the wrong from address because of this.

What email marketing platform or software are you using?
Are you able to change the default sender information in the email
marketing platform or software you are using? If so, have you tried doing
so, and what issues or errors are you encountering?
If you are unable to change the default sender information, are you able to
create a new email address that will be used as the default send from
address for your marketing emails?
If creating a new email address is not an option, are you able to manually
update the send from information for each marketing email you create?
Is there any specific reason why the emails must come from the company
email address, and not the individual who created the email?
Are there any legal or compliance requirements that must be met in terms of
the send from information for marketing emails?

I appreciate your response Jennifer. However, what I am looking for is to change the default sender or make those fields blank. Right now, when a new email is created, it auto-fills the name and email of the person who creates the marketing email. However, all emails should default to be coming from the company. It opens the door for too many mistakes to not be able to change this.
