Change Email Type

Hi - is it possible to change this email type from Automation to a regular email and just select the list I want to send it to? The solution is not presenting itself in an obvious manner. Thanks!

Hi @RdeJongh,

Yes, click Edit email in the top right, then Actions > Convert to regular email:

If the email has been published already, you might not see this option. In that case, you're best option would be to clone the email (in your screenshot Actions > Clone) and then, in the email editor, click Actions > Convert to regular email.

There is a totally new way to change which I only found through the help navigation in the editing page. 

Go to send options and change the sending method from "to a list of contacts" to "through an automation" or vice versa.

If the email has been published already, you might not see this option. In that case, you're best option would be to clone the email (in your screenshot Actions > Clone) and then, in the email editor, click Actions > Convert to regular email.

Hi - I beleive that this is no longer an option (May 2025). I no longer have the "actions" drop down.
