I am going to use workflow to - send marketing email to my team for record and check - blast out to external
Because of setting frequency cap, it may affact my team to receive marketing email. Therefore, I want to use internal marketing email, is it possible to send internal marketing email to a list? If cant, any other action can I use?
And, may I know what is "Use a contact property that stores an email address"?
For the internal marketing email action in workflows, you need to specify individual recipients. I'm not aware of a way to add a list there.
However, you could bypass this limitation by working with your IT and ask them to set up an alias that, when it is emailed, emails the list of coworkers you want to address. It would be an alias that includes the individual email addresses. It can't be setup from within HubSpot and would have to be done by your IT.
For example, the alias would be called hubspot-preview@yourcompany.com. When an email is sent to this address, it would email all coworkers under it.
How this is set up depends on which email service provider you're using.
The benefit of this approach is that this alias would be treated as a separate contact in HubSpot and wouldn't count towards a frequency send cap.
Best regards!
