Brand Governance - Character and line limits in drag and drop emails

Does anyone know if it is possible to add character and line limits to emails that are created using the drag and drop email editor and saved as templates? I am creating email templates for a large global company, where a lot of peopel using HubsSpot to create emails aren't professional marketers or designers, and they tend to write wordy emails that "break" our templates. Fro example in a template I have a container with an image with 3 lines of text below it and a button. Our teams will write 10 lines of copy in the space that was really meant for 3. And we have too many teams using HubSpot for us to train them and then monitor all the emails being created from a brand governance overview. 

I see that some other platforms, like Stensul, have brand governance where you can set character limits and limit the number of lines of copy that can be used in a template. Is there anyway to do this in HubSpot?

HubSpot’s drag-and-drop email editor doesn’t have a built-in feature to set character or line limits in templates. This can be a challenge for maintaining consistent designs, especially in a large organization with multiple users. You can use a custom module for this.

Essentially I just want to use the modules that are built into the HubSpot drag and drop editor, just with set character and line limits. Would I be able to copy/paste the code from those modules to create a custom module by just adding a few lines of code to set the character and line limits?

Our team does not have a developer / coder, I am a grapic designer who has some basic HTML knowledge. So ideally I need to set this up myself.
