Blocking IP addresses:

resolver

For some time now when I try to block an IP address I get, for example -

"Blocked IP Addresses
Don't track email opens or clicks from specific IP addresses. Your current IP address is: 2a02:8084:2160:6680:9580:d417:616d:94b1"

Which of course is not an IP address and I have to find my IP address elsewhere.

Any ideas please?

Hi @WilliamM  Actually, that is an IP address formatted in IPV6 form. Find out more here.

HubSpot will accept an iPV6 address in the Exclude Traffic modal.

Thank you,

Ed Justen

Hi Ed,

When I enter my IPv6 address, it successfully blocks my IP.  When I enter my IPv4 address, it doesn't block my IP.  Unfortunately, my IPv6 changes all the time and my IPv4 is fairly static.  Should this feature work with IPv4 addresses?

Thanks,
Sean

Thank you for your help, I'll cut & paste the old type IP address.

However, I do think it's not logical to display the IPV6 type IP address where one can only use the old type.
