Best way to export email performance information?

SOLVE

Hi Everyone. Is there a way to export Email Performance Data into an Excel spreadsheet so that you get more customer/company/contact information included that you do when you just export the "Performance Charts" PDF?

We would like the following information:

- Top Engaged Contacts (with email address and number of times opened)

- linked customer account

- linked customer email

- first name

- last name

- company

- phone number

- contact owner

Currently we have to export the Performance Chart PDF, convert that info into an excel doc, do a seperate export of hubspots contacts and perfromance V-lookups to match up the contact data with the performance chart email/number of times opened data.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Hi @HByrt,

Unfortunately not, no – your approach of doing two exports (email performance + contacts), then combining the data using VLOOKUP is the most straightforward and fastest one.

Other users have requested this before: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Feature-request-Add-contact-properties-to-email-perfo...

These requests submitted to the HubSpot Ideas section of the community are reviewed by the HubSpot product team, based on their popularity and the assumed demand. I'd recommend commenting and upvoting.

You can also help other HubSpot users find this request more easily (and drive traction) by accepting my reply as a solution. I'd appreciate it, too.

Have a great day!

Hi @HByrt HubSpot’s native export options for email performance don’t currently allow you to include detailed contact or company information alongside engagement metrics. As a result, combining data like top engaged contacts, number of opens, and associated fields (e.g. name, company, contact owner) often requires multiple exports and manual work in Excel using XLOOKUPs or similar functions.

A more streamlined solution is using a tool like Coefficient, which connects directly to HubSpot and pulls both email engagement data and full contact details into Excel. This allows you to build a single, automated report that includes all the fields you need — without converting PDFs or stitching data together manually. It’s a faster, more flexible way to analyze campaign performance and take action on your most engaged contacts.
