I have a couple of new automation workflows I am waiting to turn on, both for email campaigns. I 've set up a test and am seeing error messages regardless of the contact I am using as a test subject, this is happening across both automations.
Contact shows as enrolls and meets the enrollment trigger.
I then have An error occurred while sending (Mailing name) Previously unsubscribed from all subscription types.
Looking at the prospect record, there is nothing marked as opted out on any of the possible fields.
We recently imported prostect data after a move away from Pardot and cleaning data as we use it, we have integrated Neverbounce and run the static lists through there and then exported the results back to Hubspot, I then created a new list based on an existing list membership and added a filter to remove records based on the Neverbounce Validation Result response.
All prospects are already set as marketing contacts
Would anyone have any idea's what is happening? or how to fix?
Thanks Olivia, Our Hubspot contact sorted the issue. It was because I'd ticked 'send me copies of the emails' , I tried without and the test completed ok. Automation flows have been started so I'll wait to see if there are any issues.
Thanks Olivia, I appreciate your response. I have double checked everything you mentioned and it appears the GDPR had been turned on (very recently to try and rectify a different issue a colleague had). I have used the toggle to turn off and re-built the list and automation workflow and I'm still encountering the same issue.
None of the contacts are set to true in the unsubscribe from all, double opt-in is not turned on.
@GHayes2 Ah it's probably related to the fact that GDPR was turned on. If you have turned it off then I would not expect the same problem to still occour but you can try the following.
Go to contacts and then to contacts again Click on More Filters and filter by list membership to pull all contacts on your email list Bulk select them and in the toolboor click on 'more options'. Choose 'edit communication preferences' and opt them all into receiving communications and give them consent. Save your changes and then re-test.
When a test contact shows this error, I would recommend going to their record, then to 'view all properties' and look for the 'unsubscribed from all' property. This is probably marked as TRUE. If you hover over it and click on 'details' you should see why/when it was set that way.
