Applying an email template to an existing email

Hi everyone,

We're new to Hubspot and our emails were set up on a template that's not branded correctly. How can I apply an updated template to your marketing emails? 

I can't seem to find a way of doing it other than editing each email which is a big job.

How exactly were your email templates set up? Directly in the drag and drop email editor or did someone develop custom modules or templates with the HubSpot design manager? https://knowledge.hubspot.com/design-manager/build-a-custom-coded-template

If it's the latter, styling can be changed at the template / module level. This would very likely have involved developers or an agency.

The former would be the case if you can edit everything (layout, margin, text, image, font size, and move all sections around freely). If that's the case, it's not possible to make a central change: you would have to edit every email.

Thanks for the quick reply @karstenkoehler. That is an excellent question. I have updated the template that I thought was used but it hasn't made any changes to the emails. I will have to ask the implementation partner how they've set it up.
