Add order summary to confirmation email

I'm setting up order confirmation emails through my e-commerce site and want to include an order summary listing the products, amounts, prices and total. However, I can't seem to do this. I'd tried the abandoned cart module, but this only seems to work with Shopify (we use WooCommerce).

I can't find any way to do this out of the box. Does this require some custom work?

Hi @LiamF,

I completely understand.

Did you have a chance to review the two options I sent you?

1. Growing your WooCommerce store just got a lot easier.

2. How to connect WooCommerce + HubSpot.

With those options, you will be able to achieve the goal of sending the summary to the person when they abandon the cart.

Best regards,

Diana

Hi @LiamF

Happy to help here 😊

I understand that you would like to use abandoned carts with Woocommerce. I've done some research and found two options that can help you achieve your goal.

1. Growing your WooCommerce store just got a lot easier.

2. How to connect WooCommerce + HubSpot.

Hope this helps,

Diana

Hi @DianaGomez thanks for looking into this.

We do have the integration set up, but it's a specific issue with email set-up. When a customer makes a purchase, we send them a confirmation email. In the confirmation email, I want to list:

  1. products they purchased
  2. quantity of each item
  3. price of each item
  4. total cost

I'm using the example of the Shopify abandoned cart module, but that doesn't work with Woo and I can't find a way to replicate this.

Hi @LiamF

Thank you for the details. Could you please show me the process with screenshots? It would make it easier for me to understand what you mean and see if it's possible to customize that confirmation email. I haven't used that integration before, so I'm not familiar with how it works, but let's see what we can achieve.

Best regards,
Diana

Hi @DianaGomez sorry for the slow reply. What I want is to set up an automated email that triggers whenever a customer makes a purchase. Within that email, I want to include the following:

hubspot_abandoned cart.png

That's what the shopify abandoned cart module shows. I can't find a way to display that information through Woo.

Best,

Liam
