1px gaps between rows with BG colors in Outlook?
SOLVE
Outlook has a bug where rows with non-white background colors show a 1px gap between them sometimes. This looks bad, but right now I don't know any way to fix this in emails created with the HubSpot drag-and-drop builder, without using only white backgrounds
While @karstenkoehler is right that the ideas section may see more support from HubSpot, these breaks, gaps, or whatever you want to call them, appearing in Outlook is pretty well documented in the broader email marketing community. It's particularly problematic among older versions.
This is because those older versions of Outlook relied on Word to render HTML - which leads to all kinds of problems with modern programming/coding, as well as drag-and-drop editors.
Sometimes it's a matter of trial and error, but some common tactics include these from Litmus and Email on Acid.
Personally, I recommend trying some different font sizes. Sounds too simple, but I've found success by changing font sizes, heights, padding, etc., to even numbers. So if you're using 15px or something similar, try using 14px or 16px.
Hopefully this helps! If it does, please mark it as a solution.

Hi @david-z and welcome, we are delighted to have you on the HubSpot Community!
Thanks @karstenkoehler for pointing @david-z to the Ideas Forum! And please @david-z don't hesitate to share the link of the Idea you have created here so that we can upvote it as well!
@david-z do you have an example to show us how it looks, please?
Yes, it only happens in Outlook. Here is an example of the 1px gap. This shows between two rows, although not between all rows, just sometimes. I don't know of any pattern to when it shows up and when it doesn't.
