What happens to contacts enrolled in a sequence after email limit is reached?
SOLVE
My organization is new to HubSpot and has the Sales Enterprise subscription.
One of the business development reps sent out an email campaign to approx 1,500 contacts. We realized today that there is a 1,000 daily email limit for sequences, so many of the contacts were not emailed Step 2 of the sequence.
The contacts who currently have an "Error" status due to the email limit being reached, are they now unenrolled from the sequence? If they are still enrolled, will they be sent Step 2 once the daily send count is reset or will it skip Step 2 and send out Step 3?
What happens to contacts enrolled in a sequence after email limit is reached?

Hi @KtlynThomas! Welcome to the Community-- happy to have you here 😊
Great question! Typically when we see errors in HubSpot, the (i) icon next to the error should give you some more context. In this case, the error typically reads as:
You reached HubSpot's daily send limit before your scheduled email could be sent. To resume this sequence at the same step, click "Actions," then "Reenroll."
So, you will want to re-enroll these contacts at the same step for the contact to proceed! This section of the Knowledge Base article above goes into detail about the send limit parameters and next steps for Sequences.
Please let me know if I did not understand your questions or if you need additional clarification!
Best, Kennedy
