Out of Office replies not being sent to return email

SOLVE

Can anyone shed light

Out of Office replies are not being sent to the return email when we send our newsletter to 1600 of our contacts even though we know 20-30 are on holiday or moved jobs

Hey @NFrazer,

 

automatic email replies will go to the from address, not the reply to address.

"Please note: automated email replies (e.g. an out-of-office responder) will still go to the original From address for most email providers."

Thanks but the out of office replies are not going to the original sender when we send our marketing emails out

Hi @NFrazer,

if I understand correctly, you are using the "from address" as the reply-to address as well?

In that case, is the "from address" able to receive emails, or is it just a sending domain with no actual inbox?

It’s my work mail address as sender and it can accept both ..
Funnily enough when testing single email sends it works but not with the newsletter
