How can I create a list of people that has soft bounced, NOT hard bounced?
I would like it for all emails sent, not just 1 email. I can see soft bounces if I go into an individual email and go into Recipients and it's under Sent, which is rather unhelpful.
Hi @erica123 for contacts that have soft bounced, they will show as having a number of marketing emails bounced as greater than one, but they won't have a hard bounced reason.
Here's an example of a contact that's soft bounced:
You can use this combination of filters to create a list of soft bounces:

There aren't contact filters specifically for the different email types unless you could identify them easily based on the email subject line having specific wording. For automated, you could add a step in your workflow that adds a contact to the list if they've received an automated email, but for transactional you'd have to add each email to the list by selecting Marketing Emails and then choosing them one by one...
Again, you could create a workflow that identifies the transactional email recipients through other criteria and then add them to a list.

Few this from our observation and practical experience and while talking to Hubspot support about How to manage Hard bounces and soft bounces at TechAvidus.
1. Email Hard Bounce Property Includes Hard bounces from Both (Marketing emails and sales email [one to one or sequences])
2. Email Hard Bounce = Known or Email hard Bounce reason is any of following -- Both property will provide same results.
Better to use is Email Hard Bounce = Known as in future if hubspot add more values to bounce reasons it wil be included auto.
3.Email send status -- Property is related to sales emails only [One to one , sequences] - this may include soft bounces.
4. To Detect Marketing emails soft bounces we may need to use Marketing emails Bounced = Known (or greater than equal to 1)
5. There is no property related to Soft bounce detection seperately so we can not filter it seperately.
There is not property related to filter GLobal bounces -- it can not early detect things until we try to send email to those records -- once we try to send emails to records hubspot detect it automatically and show reasons and then email global bounce reason is updated -- HS does not send email in this case.
I am trying to figure out how to do this but with the people who the email was delivered to. I've just upgraded and none of the contacts are marketing contacts, I only want to turn the 800 people who receive our recent emails to marekting contacts, but so far I can onlyt see how to do this manually one at a time which is going to take too long. How can I turn the 800 delivered recipients into a list that I can bulk change to marketing contacts?
