Emails break when forwarded in Gmail

When I send a text to my inbox and then forward to stakeholders the formatting of the email breaks and throws out all of the text.

I'm wondering whether this happens when recipients also forward their emails. 

How can I stop this from happening?

Why don't you just send tests directly to the stakeholders rather than forwarding?  Sometimes forwarding can cause sporadic results.
