Hello community,

1. Is it possible to track if a recipient opened an email if I send the email via Outlook?

2. What do I need to do to be able to track these emails?

Are you referring to sales emails? If so, yes, this is possible with HubSpot Sales for Outlook desktop: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/connected-email/how-to-install-hubspot-sales

With the HubSpot Sales Outlook desktop add-in, you can access your sales tools directly from your inbox.

If you're referring to marketing emails, then no, these can neither be sent nor tracked from within Outlook.

Thank you for the quick reply.

My intention was any emails we are sending from outlook. 

If I connect my HubSpot account to my outlook account or install the add-in (in the link you sent me), will I be able to track (in HubSpot) if the contact viewed, opened the email?

Hi @Askarovoren,

Yes, this is one of the main features but might be hindered depending on the recipient's privacy settings in their inbox.
