Email sender domain

SOLVE

We have set up our DNS previously and been able to send emails from our own domain. We have found out this has stopped working and emails are being sent from Hubspot gibberish email addresses. It ios very annoying as was working fine and at no point have we changed anything with our DNS to stop it working so why has it happened and why did Hubspot not tell us?

Hi @CSwanepoel9,

Your first step should be to reauthenticate according to these instructions: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/marketing-email/manage-email-authentication-in-hubspot

This is to avoid any confusion on the part of your recipients when HubSpot uses the free email domains for sending.

After doing so, I'd recommend reaching out to HubSpot support directly, in-app via chat or email, since you're apparently on a paid subscription. They can further investigate what went wrong. (This is a user-to-user community, no one has access to your portal to investigate.)

Best regards!

Hi, thanks all. I should've said we are a paid user and previously had no issues. I think it is linked to the changes to GMail, Yahoo etc earlier this year as it seems to be those email users who are reporting problems. Will talk to Hubspot. Thank you

Have you checked your E-Mail sending domain set up, to see what the issue is?
