My organization is new to HubSpot - we're currently running on a free trial of Marketing Hub Enterprise and will transition to fully paid soon.
At the moment, we're seeing a marketing email send limit of 5,000 per month. Does anyone know if this number is static during our trial or goes up as we add contacts?
The features breakdown for Marketing Hub Enterprise says your account limit is 20x the number of marketing contacts you have. Given that we have 0 contacts at the moment, I'm curious where the 5,000 per month limit is coming from.
In your HubSpot account, click your account name in the top right corner, then click Account & Billing. In the Overview tab, scroll down a bit to Products & Add-ons. Under the Marketing Hub entry, you should see how many contacts you're using and how many emails you've sent.
The 20x limit is not based on the number of contacts in your CRM but the number of marketing contacts in your system or – if you're on the old system – a fixed number of contacts in your subscription (which here is unlikely).
Hope this helps!

All trial portals have a static limit of 5000 sends. At this time, this 5000 limit cannot be increase for trial portals.
If you decide to purchase, your email send limit will correlate to your hub plan. As @karstenkoehler mentioned, it may be the 20x your contact tier (old system) or 20x the number of marketing contacts in your portal.
