Upcoming Sunset: Growth default theme for HubSpot CMS

Note: This post has been updated to reflect an updated sunset date of May 14. The original date for this was March 15.

What’s changing

Starting on May 14, 2025, the default CMS Growth theme will no longer be available for new HubSpot portals. After this date, existing HubSpot portals will retain access to the Growth theme but will not receive any further features or enhancements.

Moving forward, we recommend you use the new “Elevate” default theme. You can start using this theme today by creating a new web page and choosing Elevate as the page’s theme. If you’d like to fetch the theme code, you can do so with the HubSpot CLI command hs fetch @hubspot/elevate.

Support

HubSpot will continue to address any bugs that may arise in the future with the Growth theme. Questions or comments? Please add them to this forum thread for peer-to-peer support.

The fetch command is having some issues right now, which HubSpot Developers are working to fix.

The components folder is missing.

When I play fetch I usually have to yell "go get the ball!" -- have you tried that ?

@nickdeckerdevs1

Did not work for me 😞

zsh: command not found: yell

Maybe I am missing an npm package for yelling
