Design Manager: "Copy to different account" functionality updated

Starting today, we have updated the “Copy to different account” functionality inside of the Design Tools. 

 

What’s changing?

This new functionality has removed the guided step-by-step workflow and introduces a single modal to streamline copying your modules, templates, and now, themes, from one account to another. We have also removed the dependency check functionality of our copy tool (such as images from file managers, CTAs, and linked files) when copying your assets to different accounts. 

 

With the removal of the dependency check, we recommend that developers make sure to use an efficient development workflow that utilizes relative file paths and building with portability in mind. For an example of this, be sure to check out CMS Theme Boilerplate.

 

We have also extended the functionality of our HubSpot CLI to allow for users to be able to:

Hi @AJLaPorte , sorry this update it was bad today

 

I had a campaign to launch today and my template just doesn't copy and it doesn't tell me why it's not copying.

 

I always copied my templates and REMOVED the copy of the coexisting modules.

 

Now I'm not able to copy and we have campaigns launching TODAY and TOMORROW!

 

I need to know URGENTLY what I need to adapt to the new update so that my templates can be copied as I always did.

Hi @DanielSanchez, can you try copying the asset again? We just pushed a fix for this issue.

Hi @AJLaPorte ,

 

I tried it now and the error persisted. It does not let you clone or display what needs to be modified. It is an independent template, with new modules and folders.

 

I tried anonymous tab as well and the error persisted.

 

I appreciate the quick response, please we need to be able to copy.

 

There are 19 HubSpot accounts depending on these templates and our campaigns will start tomorrow.

Remembering that on Friday we made copies of some templates and worked normally as we always did.

Now he uploaded, and presented a new message. Here is a new print:

In the new account now the folder appeared, but without the modules and templates files.
